Forever Kuddles Fosters

Every Rescue Starts with a Kuddle

Foster

Open your home and help a puppy start again

Forever Kuddles is foster-based: approved homes make it possible for us to bring in the next litter from our partners. Apply once, get the approval email, and we'll reach out when timing lines up—then you foster until each pup finds their forever family.

Foster application

Ready to join the foster team?

Start with the application. After approval, you'll hear from us when the next pickup is on the calendar—no need to reapply each time.

How it works here

From application to your next puppy

The flow is simple: get approved once, stay on our foster list, and we’ll match you when the rescue is bringing in the next group. Shorter-term help is available too—just note it on your application or tell us when we connect.

Step 01

Apply

Complete the foster application so we can learn about your home, schedule, and experience.

Step 02

Approval

Approved fosters get an email confirming they're cleared to foster. You'll be contacted when we're planning our next litter pickup or intake.

Step 03

Welcome your foster

When a puppy or litter is a fit, we coordinate placement. Day-to-day care is the same as with any responsible rescue—we supply guidance, supplies, and vet support as agreed.

Step 04

Until adoption

You keep each puppy safe and loved until they're matched with an adopter. If fostering until adoption isn't the right fit, ask us about shorter-term roles—we're happy to discuss options.

Why foster?

Your spare room is a lifeline

  • Fostering saves lives by creating space for more rescues.
  • Puppies heal faster in a home environment than in a shelter setting.
  • You help shape behavior, confidence, and socialization.
  • You become part of a support community committed to rescue.

Day to day

Foster responsibilities

Caring for a foster puppy mirrors what you’d expect from any well-run rescue: structure, patience, and clear communication with the team.

  • Provide a safe, clean, and loving temporary home.
  • Support feeding, exercise, and daily care routines.
  • Monitor health or behavior updates and share notes.

Timeline

Typical foster length — and flexible options

Most placements run about 4–8 weeks, depending on the puppy's age, medical needs, and how quickly the right adopter comes along. Some stays are shorter; we'll always set expectations before you say yes.

If you can't commit to fostering until adoption, talk to us about shorter-term support—relief coverage, transport help, or other ways to plug in between intakes.

At a glance

  • One application → approval email → we call when the next group is scheduled.
  • Foster until each puppy is adopted; we handle matching and adopter support.
  • Medical care, food, and supplies are provided by the rescue unless we agree otherwise.
